10. Attachments:
1.) Work & School Clothing:
I will need work and school clothing for the following reasons:
a.) Due to my disability and recent illness I have lost a considerable amount of
weight and need to replace my current wardrobe.
b.) I will also be seeking part time employment during my school efforts and will
need professional clothing for job seeking, initial work, and internships. I am also
expecting to be involved in work study options at UNC.
2.) Computer, Software, etc...
I will need a computer, software, peripherals, etc... for the following reasons:
a.) College educations now require that all papers be free of spelling errors due to
computer technology. Writing papers by hand is not a valid tool in the
management field.
b.) Business management classes are primarily related to computer knowledge and
proficiency.
c.) I am also intending to minor in business computer science, and will be using a
computer extensively in my eventual work.
d.) I am intending to purchase either a Compaq, IBM, Dell, or AT&T computer,
due to the high ratings these computers receive on reliability and service. (re: PC
World Magazine, Nov 1994, pg 155, PC Reliability/Service ratings.
3.) Vehicle Insurance, mileage & repairs, etc...
I own a Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer, 1986, and will be using it for various part time work
opportunities (ie: UNC work study) doctors appointments, to and from college classes,
Social Security, etc... The repairs listed on the PASS include an initial repair of my heater
at a cost of $700.00, and an initial oil change & tune-up. Since I already own this vehicle
accessing public transportation (which is not available after 7:00pm in Greeley) would be
less reliable and clearly unworkable for my schedules.
